After three dives, loving it, less weight on my belt/lower back!!

Excellent Quality and vibrant colors. Glad to have a vest that's not only functional but also attractive with my other Waihana suits.

Secure fit, true to size chart.
Works well as primary/ only weight vest for 1.5 mm
And a secondary weight vest to get some off of your belt for 3.5 and above.
Holds up up to 8 lbs (theoretically with soft weights)
Currently have only tried the kaijuiki with five lb of coated hard weights.
Will utilize my Goliath print for my 3.5 mm setup, I will acquire the necessary soft weights and attempt to utilize it with the theoretical 8 lb. It seems like it could hold. At the very least I know it can hold five lbs and relieve some of the weight from my belt.
Will no doubt be utilizing it when I get a 7 mil for PNW shenanigans.
The vest can be removed quite easily, has attachment point for belt though I feel like the connecting lanyard would pull the weight belt belt up off of my hips.
Weight sits behind shoulder blades on the upper back.
Glad I caught this, at the time that I ordered it, there were no images describing it. Perhaps I have happily become a beta tester for this.
That said; I appreciate the functionality and utility that this item can have for different setups and different people… once again, it's very clear that wihana has actively considered who's going to be using this and for what.
But I would love to see a version that could comfortably hold a 10-15 lb total, perhaps by accomodations for additional weights in the front and a clip across the upper chest.
Maybe I am in the minority for thinking this but have always detested having to wear my weight on a dive belt. The way the belt inevitably moves around and restricts my stomach from expanding and contracting freely has always been irksome.
